Frederic Remington High School occupies a large tract of old farmland just north of Brainerd on the east side of Broadway/Meadowlark Road. The school has a current enrollment of 156 and expects to graduate 31 students in June 2000. It opened in 1963.

The school's library houses the Frederic Remington Area Historical Society's collection of Brainerd artifacts, including the photos included in many of the older images found throughout the Gallery section of this site.
