The Brainerd Store was converted to a church in the 1950s, and an addition was built onto the original store structure, stretching East along Neiman Street. The church later was converted into a home for missionaries home on furlough.
In this view, looking to the Northeast, the outlines of the original store structure are faintly visible beneath the clean, whitewashed exterior of the present-day Grace Missionary Home.
