The Grace Missionary Home is again visible on the East side of Broadway/Meadowlark Rd., in this 1999 photo. Note the high roadbed and the way the townscape abruptly gives way to farmscape to the West of the road, which was once lined with thriving businesses backing up to large single-family homes.

This farmland has been in the Harder family since 1877, and current owner, Edgar Harder has pulled many an old house foundation stone out of the fields over the past five decades.
