The Brainerd Cemetery perches on a small hill to the North of the Frederic Remington High School. Here, my relatives, the Mellors, are buried, alongside members of the E.B. Brainerd family.

The plots of the Hoss, Schroke, Cornelius and Horner families are but a few of the graves of early Brainerd pioneers to be found in this peaceful place.
