Most of Butler County's East-West rural roads have been renamed with numeric designations, with the numbers increasing from South to North. In Brainerd, the East-West town streets of Neiman, Horner and Jacob Streets are officially labelled as 85th, 86th and 87th Streets, respectively.

Interestingly, the original North-South town street names have been maintained, with Ellet and Bergman Streets both reflected in signage. The easternmost North-South street was never officially named, according to the area residents with whom I spoke.
